In August 2009, VC Design and Build completed a significant renovation to the dining area of the G. Burke Johnston Student Center on the campus of Virginia Tech.  The project included the complete removal of an existing dining area and the new construction of a Subway Restaurant and Seattle's Best Coffee.  This new Subway is now among the highest volume stores in the Subway chain, with the capacity to serve over 300 students per hour.

For this project VC Design and Build coordinated between Subway Store Design, Virginia Tech, and the store Owner to ensure all interest were met.  The project was completed under an extremely aggressive schedule and deadline, allowing this new restaurant to open at full capacity when students returned for fall classes.
